Channel Calibration

The Channel Calibration page is used to Calibrate the sensor to the Datatron System.

The Channel Calibration page displays four boxes of values that are used to display the initial settings and the results of the Channel Calibration.

Data

Voltage

The real time voltage reading of the Channel in Volts

Current

The real time voltage reading of the Channel in mA

Value

The real time calculated value of the Channel in the corresponding Engineering Unit (i.e., C, F, %RH, %CO2, Volts, etc.)

Note:

These fields will be updated whenever the value of the sensor changes.  This can be anywhere from a few seconds to a minute or more depending upon the type of sensor used for this channel.

Initial

Zero

The Initial Zero value of the sensor

Scale

The Initial Scale value of the sensor

Offset

The Initial Offset value of the sensor

Note:

These fields will be updated once the Calibration has been saved.

Result

Zero mA

The mA Zero Value recorded during the Calibration

Scale mA

The mA Scale Value recorded during the Calibration

Offset mA

The mA Offset Value recorded during the Calibration

Note:

These fields will be updated once the Calibration or Mid Point  procedure has been performed

New

Zero

The New Zero Value calculated after the Calibration or Mid Point procedure has been completed

Scale

The New Scale Value calculated after the Calibration or Mid Point procedure has been completed

Offset

The New Offset Value calculated after the Calibration or Mid Point procedure has been completed

Note:

These fields will be updated once the Calibration or Mid Point  procedure has been performed.  The Calibration must be Saved in order for these New Values to take effect.
